Quite frankly, Stephen A. Smith hates you haters

July 4, 2010 by John Stansberry

The wildest NBA free agency period in the history of recorded time has turned Stephen A. Smith into a reporter who’s constantly having to correct Stephen A. Smith.  Last week, SAS said Lebron, Bosh and D-Wade were a done deal to Miami.  Quite frankly, he’s now had to change his tune:

As everyone knows, I reported last week on my morning drive show on Fox Sports Radio that LeBron James would join Dwayne Wade in Miami and take Chris Bosh with him to join the Heat. At the moment, that is still very possible, but there’s been a potentially huge monkey wrench thrown into the equation — with (understandable) greed on the part of Bosh being the main culprit. Quite frankly, SAS is a little pissed off that his self-contradictory reports on the free agent frenzy are being scoffed at by all the haters.  He told us so on Twitter:

SAS is so pissed at all of you haterade drinkers that he's exceeding Twitter's 140 character count and not even caring about it.  Quite frankly, he's just that upset.  Can he help it if Worldwide Wes is feeding him a bunch of bad info to throw him off the scent?

All this SAS talk reminds me of one of my all-time favorite YouTube videos.  Quite frankly, if you’ve got 10 minutes, I think it’ll be one of your favorites, too:
