Travis Parmelee keeps tasering in the news

A tasering of a sports fan in Jacksonville that doesn’t occur during Georgia-Florida weekend? Unpossible! But Travis Parmelee decided that the Players Championship was as good a time as any to go bat $hit nuts:

What kind of douchenozzle gets tasered during a friggin’ golf tournament? And in the SECOND ROUND no less?:
Capt. Dave Messenger of the Sheriff’s Office said marshals on hole No. 11 called police around 5 p.m. to deal with a man who was being uncooperative and argumentative. Messenger said the suspect would not calm down and became even more belligerent when talking with police officers. (Florida Times-Union)
I’m stunned that this even made the newspaper down there. After all, these folks are used to seeing much worse crap than this happen to fans, rewind back a few years:
For the third year in a row, a fan died during the Florida - Georgia game in Jacksonville near Alltell Stadium.
Police are saying that Randall Amos, fell down a flight of stairs during televised coverage of Saturday’s game at the Tailgate Bar and Grill near the stadium. His death is being ruled an accident. Last year, a Florida student was killed in a fight. The year before, a student died after falling from a parking garage. (fanblogs.com)
